Clyde Corinthian 1000 Guinea Pursuit Race

Post by marisca »

20th June from RGYC - just wish I could post the snazzy posters. Your chance to score lots of dosh on a course from Ashton to the Gantocks, then the sugar ship and back to RGYC (or the other way round) - the course may vary with the weather.
You will need a CYCA handicap; a sail number; £3M 3rd party for racing but ask your provider nicely and stress the pursuit aspect - no crowded start lines; and a sense of humour. Details are on https://www.clydecorinthian.org/.
It is intended to be a fun event with boats finishing around the same time (if the handicapping is good) and a party ashore afterwards.
All this is to celebrate the CCYC 150th Anniversary in a Corinthian way, befitting the long history of inclusivity and joy of being on the water
And I should mention it is White Sail - no coloured works of the devil, no need for extra crew, just maw, paw and the weans on a gentle day out doon ra watter.
